GenX Battery offers a warranty for the following key parameters of our drone batteries, verified by an included test report:
Capacity (mAh): The GenX Battery will meet or exceed the specified milliampere-hour rating.
Energy (Wh): The GenX Battery will meet or exceed the specified watt-hour rating.
Energy Density (Wh/kg): The GenX Battery’s energy density will meet or exceed the specified watt-hours per kilogram.
Discharge Rate: The GenX Battery will maintain the specified discharge rate as outlined in the datasheet.
Cycle Life: The GenX Battery is warranted to meet the minimum cycle life as specified. Cycle life above this minimum is not covered under warranty, as the provided values are based on ideal usage conditions.
Warranty Period
The warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship for a period of 6 months from the production date.
Exclusions froms Warranty
This warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from:
Improper usage or mishandling of the GenX Battery, including failure to follow the operating instructions.
Overcharging, forced-discharge, short circuits, or exposure to low pressure conditions.
Usage beyond the specified operating temperature range.
Dropping, crushing, or any other form of physical damage.
Unauthorized modifications or repairs carried out by third parties.
Normal wear and tear associated with the regular use of the GenX Battery.
Cycle life above the minimum value specified in the warranty, as those values are under ideal usage conditions.
Charging through non-compatible chargers or chargers not recommended by GenX Battery.
Visual Inspection
At the time of delivery, the GenX Battery should be free from any physical defects such as scratches, flaws, cracks, or leakage that could adversely affect its commercial value.
Storage Instructions
To maintain GenX Battery performance and safety, adhere to the following storage guidelines:
Long-Term Storage (Over 3 Months): Store the GenX Battery in a dry and cool place. It should be charged and discharged every 3 months, maintaining a storage voltage of 3.6~3.75V.
Environmental Conditions:
Temperature: 20±5°C
Humidity: ≤75%RH
Atmosphere: 86KPa～106KPa
Safety and Precautions for Lithium-Ion Batteries
Charging: Use only a charger designed specifically for lithium-ion batteries. Do not use chargers not approved by GenX Battery.
Charging Environment: Charge the battery on a non-flammable surface, preferably inside a fireproof safe bag. Do not leave the battery unattended while charging.
Storage: Store the battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and flammable materials. Avoid storing the battery fully charged or fully discharged.
Handling: Handle the battery with care to avoid punctures, crushing, or dropping. Avoid exposing the battery to physical damage.
Disposal: Dispose of the battery at designated electronic waste recycling facilities. Do not dispose of the battery in regular trash or incinerate it.
Fire Safety: If the battery shows signs of swelling, overheating, or damage, discontinue use immediately. Handle with caution and use a Class D fire extinguisher designed for lithium fires if necessary.
Optional Services
An additional discharge test report for the GenX Battery, which provides detailed performance data under specific conditions, is available upon request for an additional charge.
Claims Procedure
To make a warranty claim for a GenX Battery:
Contact our customer service team with the original purchase receipt and the provided test report.
Upon validation, we will repair or replace the defective GenX Battery at our discretion.
Limitation of Liability
Our maximum liability under this warranty is limited to the original sales value of the GenX Battery. This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, whether expressed or implied.
General Provisions
Any issues not explicitly covered in these warranty terms will be addressed through direct consultation between the customer and GenX Battery. The final decision will rest with GenX Battery.
