What you need to know about cookies on genxbattery.com.

  • We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your cart and RFQ drafts, understand how the site is used, and (with your consent) measure marketing performance.

  • Strictly necessary cookies always run — they make login, cart and checkout work.

  • Analytics and marketing cookies only run if you consent on the cookie banner.

  • You can change your preferences any time via your browser settings or by clearing your consent.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, or report information back to the site owner. In this policy, “cookies” also covers similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, pixels and SDKs that perform similar functions.

02

Categories we use

We group cookies into four standard categories so you can make a clear choice. Only the strictly-necessary category runs without your consent.

  • Strictly necessary— required for login, cart, checkout, RFQ submission and basic security.
  • Functional— remember preferences such as recently viewed products and saved filters.
  • Analytics— help us understand which pages and RFQ flows work so we can improve them.
  • Marketing— measure performance of campaigns and ads, only with your consent.
03

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the site to function. They handle authentication, session continuity, fraud prevention and cart state. Because the site cannot work without them, they cannot be switched off through the consent banner. You can still block them through your browser, but the RFQ flow, login and checkout will not work correctly if you do.

04

Functional cookies

Functional cookies remember small choices that improve your experience — recently viewed batteries, saved compare lists, language and region preferences. They are not used for advertising. Disabling them simply resets these preferences each visit.

05

Analytics cookies

We use analytics to understand which catalog pages buyers view, where RFQ flows drop off, and how page performance behaves across devices. Analytics data is generally aggregated and pseudonymized — we do not use it to identify individual visitors. Analytics cookies only run when you consent on the banner.

Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies measure how our paid campaigns perform and help us avoid showing you the same ad repeatedly. We use them only with your consent and only for our own campaigns — we do not sell or share this data with marketing partners. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by third parties whose services we embed — for example, analytics or video providers. These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies. We review them as part of our vendor due diligence, but their practices are ultimately governed by their own terms.

The exact list of third parties may change as we update our analytics, support and marketing stack. This page will be updated when those changes happen.

08

How to control cookies

You have several ways to control cookies on GenX:

  • Consent banner— choose your categories the first time you visit, and change them later by clearing your consent state from your browser.
  • Browser settings— most browsers let you block or delete cookies. See your browser’s help pages for instructions.
  • Do Not Track— we honour browser-level “Do Not Track” signals where they are unambiguous, and disable analytics and marketing cookies in that case.
  • Opt-out tools— many ad networks (such as Google and Meta) provide their own opt-out tools to disable personalised ads.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of the RFQ flow, login or checkout from working correctly.

09

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we add new tools or change vendors. When we do, we update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the consent banner so you can review your choices.
